This policy explains what personal information Shreeji Sip & Bites (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website to order food or reserve a table, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order we collect only what we need to prepare and deliver it:

• Contact details: your name and mobile number.
• Delivery address: house / flat / building, area / locality, landmark (optional) and pincode.
• Delivery location: if you tap “Use My Current Location”, your browser shares your current GPS position once so we can check that your address is inside our delivery area. We store that position with your order, rounded to about one metre, so our delivery staff can find you.
• Order details: the items, quantities, prices, total, order number, date and time.
• Payment information: whether you chose Pay Online or Pay on Delivery, whether it is paid, and, for online payments, the Razorpay order and payment reference numbers.

When you use the table reservation form, the name, date, time and number of guests you enter are put into a WhatsApp message that you send to us yourself.

2. Information we do not collect

• We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking login or OTP. Online payments are handled entirely inside Razorpay’s secure payment window.
• We do not track your location continuously or in the background. Your location is requested only when you press the button, and only to check delivery eligibility.
• We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.

3. How we use your information

• To accept, prepare, deliver and confirm your order and to contact you about it.
• To process payments, cancellations and refunds.
• To check that a delivery address is inside our delivery area and to prevent misuse or fraudulent orders.
• To keep business, accounting and tax records as required by law.
• To answer your questions and complaints.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the services and people needed to run your order:

• Razorpay processes online payments. It receives your name, mobile number and the amount you pay, and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
• Google Firebase / Google Cloud stores our menu and order records on servers in India (Mumbai region).
• Cloudflare hosts this website.
• Google Maps is used to show our location and directions. Google may set its own cookies when the map is displayed.
• Our staff and delivery personnel see your name, mobile number, address and order so they can deliver it.
• Authorities, when the law requires us to disclose information.

5. Data stored in your browser

To make ordering work, this website stores your cart (the items and quantities you selected) in your browser’s local storage, and keeps a temporary checkout reference in session storage to avoid duplicate orders if you refresh the page. These are not advertising or tracking cookies, and you can clear them any time from your browser settings.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to run our business, resolve disputes and meet accounting and legal requirements. Personal details that are no longer needed are deleted or anonymised when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.

7. Security

The website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Order records can be accessed only by authorised café staff through a password-protected admin panel. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). You can also refuse to share your location; in that case delivery eligibility cannot be checked and you can contact us to arrange your order. 9. Children

Our online ordering is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
